Paris NN midfielder Kukharchuk: some foreigners should not play in the RPL
Paris Nizhny Novgorod football player Ilya Kukharchuk assessed the level of foreign players performing in the Russian Premier League (RPL). His words are quoted by RB Sport.
According to the midfielder, there are foreigners in the Russian championship who should not play at this level, but Kukharchuk did not name specific names. “Any foreigner who comes to our championship must be stronger than our Russian guys. And if players of the same level or lower come, it’s unfair to us,” he explained.
Paris NN has six foreign players. Naturalized Malian Maiga Mamadou also plays for the team.
