Footballer Bistrovich said that Europe has begun to treat Russians better
Croatian midfielder of CSKA Moscow Christian Bistrovich, who plays on loan for Kaliningrad Baltika, spoke about the change in the attitude of Europeans towards Russians. His words are quoted by Sport Express.
“The situation has probably improved now. Many foreigners come to Russia, and in Europe they are a little calmer about this. I see this in my parents,” said the football player. He said that they had difficulty accepting his departure to Russia, but now they would come to visit him in Kaliningrad.
On October 2, Bistrovich spoke about the possible acquisition of Russian citizenship. He stated that he always felt like a Croat.
Bistrovich moved to CSKA in 2018, and from 2021 to 2023 he played for several European clubs on loan. In September, Baltika rented the midfielder until the end of the season with the right to buy.
