Kadyrov gave Chimaev a Mercedes-Benz G-Class for winning the UFC 294 tournament
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, gave a gift to mixed style fighter (MMA) Khamzat Chimaev for winning the UFC 294 tournament. The athlete spoke about this on Instagram (banned in the Russian Federation; owned by Meta corporation, recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).
Chimaev posted a photo next to a Mercedes-Benz G-Class. He also noted Kadyrov’s account in the photo.

On October 21, Chimaev defeated American Kamaru Usman. The middleweight fight took place in Abu Dhabi. It ended in three rounds with Chimaev winning by majority decision (29-27, 29-27, 28-28).
Chimaev had 13 fights in his professional career without suffering a single defeat. At UFC 294, he competed for the first time under the flag of the United Arab Emirates and represented the Grozny team “Akhmat”.
