Coach Ivanov advises strengthening the thigh muscles to get rid of joint pain

Fitness trainer Ivan Ivanov spoke about exercises to get rid of pain in the hip joints. His words are quoted by Sport Express.

“To strengthen the hip joint, it is necessary to strengthen the internal and external thigh muscles,” Ivanov explained. He emphasized that before starting any workout, it is important to warm up and stretch your muscles.

To get rid of painful sensations in the joints, the specialist advised doing squats and lateral lunges, starting with 5-10 repetitions on each leg. Another useful exercise is leg rotation from a lying position. To do this, you need to raise one leg vertically so that the toe is pointed at the ceiling, and keep the other motionless on the floor. Then slowly describe 5-10 circles with your raised leg clockwise and counterclockwise, repeat the movement on the other side.

The four-point angle will help strengthen the thigh muscles, according to Ivanov. Starting position: standing on all fours, palms under shoulders. You need to raise your right leg and bend it at the knee to an angle of 90 degrees, then smoothly perform several movements back and forth with your raised right leg and repeat the exercise with the other leg.

In addition, the expert noted the benefits of stretching. Lying on your back, he recommended pulling up your right leg and placing your foot on your left knee (the left leg lies motionless on the floor), fixing this position for a few seconds, then doing a similar movement on the other side. In a sitting position, stretch your legs and gently lean forward, feeling the stretch in your hips.

On October 8, fitness trainer Anastasia Isaenko listed the five best types of autumn activity. She recommended Nordic walking, cycling, running, play sports and strength training in outdoor areas.
