Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Vladimir Mineev spoke about the proposals from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). This is reported by “Championship.com”.
The 31-year-old Russian admitted that he received letters from the UFC after his second fight with Magomed Ismailov, which took place as part of the AMC Fight Nights tournament. Mineev also noted that he had previously received offers from foreign promotions – UFC and Bellator.
Mineev clarified that Alexey Oleinik, who plays in the UFC, contacted him. The Russian admitted that he had not received any offers at a time when he was ready to move to the United States. “Now I have reached the level of earnings for the top guys in America. If you compare my income to what the UFC leaders get, then I get no less. Considering taxes, ”Mineev added.
Mineev knocked out Ismailov in their second bout and retained the AMC Fight Nights champion belt. The first fight took place in the fall of 2018 and ended in a draw.
Mineev won 16 MMA victories with a single defeat and one draw.
