Coach Tatyana Tarasova said that they are similar to Eteri Tutberidze
Honored Coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova compared Eteri Tutberidze with herself. She discussed this in an interview with the YouTube channel “Comment.Show”.
“Their headquarters is made up of three people. These are not the simplest people who work with her, they also know a lot. She is very strong, it seems to me that she looks like me,” Tarasova said. She noted the similarity not only in character, but also in behavior.
On September 22, it became known that the construction of the Eteri Tutberidze Figure Skating Center was completed in Moscow. The Sports Palace in the southwest of the capital has two ice arenas that can be transformed into hockey fields.
Tutberidze, Honored Coach of Russia, works in women’s and pairs skating. The coach trained Olympic champions Yulia Lipnitskaya, Alina Zagitova, Anna Shcherbakova, as well as Olympic medalists Evgenia Medvedeva, Alexandra Trusova and the couple Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov. Her students, starting from the 2015/2016 season, won all the Russian singles championships.
