World figure skating champion Tuktamysheva will miss the 2023/2024 season
World figure skating champion Elizaveta Tuktamysheva has suspended her career. RIA Novosti reports this with reference to a source familiar with the situation.
As it became known, the 26-year-old figure skater will miss the 2023/2024 season. She will focus on performing in ice shows.
Tuktamysheva is the 2015 world and European champion. At the second world championship in her career, where the athlete went in 2021, she became a silver medalist. She also has medals of all the merits of the planet’s team championships.
Earlier, Tuktamysheva told what she would do after finishing her career. “I want to study for some other profession – management, psychology, advertising, oratory,” said the athlete. She recalled that she already has a coaching diploma, but she would like to develop further and prove herself outside of sports.
