Mother of 12-year-old hockey player: son escaped serious injury after rape
Natalya, the mother of a 12-year-old hockey player, commented on the information about the rape of her son in St. Petersburg. Her words are quoted by Fontanka.
“They tried to abuse him with a hockey stick. The five of them held him back, but my son was well prepared, so he was able to group and run out of the locker room,” the woman said. She noted that her son was able to avoid serious injuries and received only a bruise in the intimate area.
The rape became known earlier on October 10. Law enforcement spoke with the boy. He said that in the locker room his teammates threw him to the floor, used a chokehold and held him by the legs. They tried to insert a club into the victim’s anus.
The medical facility confirmed that the child had a rectal injury. The police initiated an investigation into the incident.
