Coach van Hoff recommended the Romanian deadlift for pumping up the legs and buttocks
Trainer Jake van Hoff named the most effective exercise for pumping up the muscles of the legs and buttocks. His words are quoted by Women’s Health.
The specialist advised me to perform Romanian deadlifts. He noted that the advantage of this exercise is that it requires a minimum of equipment – dumbbells and other weights will do. The move works multiple muscle groups, including the lower back, glutes, core and hamstrings, and is safe for people with lower back pain, van Hooff says.
The trainer also talked about the correct technique for performing the exercise. Starting position: standing, feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, arms along the body. Then you need to move your hips back and lean your body forward so that the dumbbells held in your hands drop to the level of your shins. “Maintaining a neutral spine, place your weight in your heels and fully extend through your hips and knees while squeezing your glutes,” van Hoff added. He emphasized that the back should be straight when performing the exercise.
Earlier, fitness trainer Yanina Kolpakova named ways to force yourself to go to the gym. She suggested taking up a new type of physical activity and finding company among friends.
