Juventus midfielder Pogba’s B sample tested positive for testosterone
The positive result of the doping test of Juventus football player Paul Pogba was confirmed. This was reported by Sky Sport Italia.
According to the source, sample B, like sample A, gave a positive result for testosterone. It is noted that the midfielder faces up to four years of disqualification. His contract with Juventus could also be terminated.
Pogba’s failed doping test became known in September. It was reported that testosterone metabolites were detected in a sample taken from a 30-year-old Frenchman on August 20 after a match in the first round of the Italian Championship.
Pogba returned to Juventus from Manchester United in July 2022. He signed a contract with the team for which he played from 2012 to 2016 as a free agent. Together with Juventus, the Frenchman became the champion of Italy four times, won the Cup twice and the country’s Super Cup three times. The midfielder also became the 2018 world champion as part of the French national team.
