Fitness expert Elena Ryabinkova revealed the correct time for training after sleep. Her words are quoted by KP.RU.

Ryabinkova said that it is better to train two hours after sleep. “If the workout is light intensity, such as yoga, Pilates, light jogging, then you can wait an hour after sleep. Definitely, you shouldn’t exercise immediately after waking up,” she explained.

The specialist noted that it is also necessary to complete sports activities no earlier than two hours before bedtime. At the same time, moderate and high intensity workouts should be completed within three to four hours.

Earlier, pulmonologist and somnologist Dr. Hervé Syiru spoke about the effect of physical exercise on night’s sleep. A study of older adults found that exercise nearly halved the time it took to fall asleep and increased sleep duration by 41 minutes.
