Head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin called journalism crap
The head coach of the Russian national team and Rostov, Valery Karpin, called journalism crap. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
A journalist asked a specialist about professional burnout. “Am I tired of football? Can you get tired? Aren’t you tired of this crap (journalism – approx. “Tapes.ru”) study? It happens to you, but not to me,” he said. The coach emphasized that he enjoys playing football.
Earlier on October 3, Rostov lost to Lokomotiv Moscow in the fifth round match of the group stage of the Russian Cup with a score of 1:3. In the current Russian Premier League, the team has failed to win the last six matches.
Karpin will lead the Russian national team in the summer of 2021. The agreement with the coach runs until August 2024. The specialist returned to Rostov in March 2022. He previously worked at the club from 2017 to 2021.
