“Rostov” filed a lawsuit against Norwegian football player Normann, who left Russia
The Rostov football club filed a complaint with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the club’s former football player Matthias Normann, who left Russia. TASS reports this.
Rostov President Artashes Harutyunyants said that the application was accepted for consideration. The reason was that the football player unilaterally terminated the agreement with the club.
On August 9, Norman notified Rostov and Dynamo Moscow, for whom he played, of the termination of the contract due to the fact that the Moscow City building was attacked by drones. Then, citing these circumstances, the legionary left the country and moved to the Saudi Al-Raed. For this he was criticized at home.
From 2019 to 2021, Norman played for Rostov, after which he was loaned to English Norwich. In the fall of 2022, the Rostovites again sent the footballer on loan to Dynamo.
