The head coach of Vityaz Podolsk, Alexander Zavyalov, left the team. This is reported on the club’s website.
It is noted that the specialist resigned of his own free will. “Vityaz thanks Alexander Vasilyevich Zavyalov for his work and wishes him success,” added team president Mikhail Golovkov. Alexey Tertyshny will become the acting head coach.
On October 2, Vityaz lost away to CSKA with a score of 1:9. In total, in the 2023/2024 season, the team suffered 11 defeats, winning two victories – in shootouts over Admiral (2:1) and in overtime over Lada (1:0).
