Details have emerged about the condition of Lokomotiv football player Polina Yuklyaeva, who collided head-on with her opponent during the match. This was reported by the club’s Telegram channel.
“After a computed tomography scan, no fractures of the skull bones were detected in Polina Yuklyaeva. Additional examinations are planned,” the team said. It is noted that the athlete has already been released home from the hospital.
Earlier on Sunday, October 1, Yuklyaeva collided head-on with her opponent Yulia Pleshkova during the match between Lokomotiv and CSKA. The athlete lost consciousness and was hospitalized. The meeting took place in Khimki near Moscow and ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of CSKA.
19-year-old Yuklyaeva has been playing for Lokomotiv since 2022. She is also known for her performances for the Russian women’s junior and youth national teams.
