Akinfeev said that he normally appreciated Karpin’s call for players to go to Europe

The captain of CSKA Moscow, Igor Akinfeev, appreciated the call of the head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin for the players to go to Europe. His words are quoted by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

“I reacted completely normally to these words – let them go. If someone is waiting for them there, then please,” said the footballer. He drew attention to the fact that if there are appropriate offers, it is necessary to go to the European championships. The goalkeeper cited the example of Daler Kuzyaev and Alexander Golovin, who are successfully performing in the French Championship.
