Andrei Orlovsky will fight with Waldo Cortez-Acosta on January 13 at the UFC tournament
The date of the next fight of the Belarusian mixed style fighter (MMA) Andrei Orlovsky in the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) has been announced. MMA Junkie reports.
Orlovsky will fight with Dominican Waldo Cortes-Acosta. The heavyweight bout will take place at the promotion’s event on January 13, 2024. The venue will be announced later.
44-year-old Orlovsky won 34 victories and suffered 22 defeats during his MMA career. Two more fights with his participation were declared invalid. The 31-year-old Cortez-Acosta has won 13 fights and lost one.
Orlovsky is a former UFC champion. From 2005 to 2006, he held the promotion’s heavyweight championship belt. The last time he entered the octagon was in June 2023 against American DonTel Mays. Then the Belarusian lost by technical knockout.
