Doctor of Biological Sciences Andrey Voronkov: exercise slippers will not help you lose weight
Doctor of Biological Sciences, leading researcher at the Federal Scientific Center for Physical Culture and Sports, Andrei Voronkov, appreciated the benefits of exercise slippers for weight loss. His words are quoted by NTV.
According to the specialist, exercise slippers will not help you lose weight. “With such a small involvement of muscle groups, this is a big question mark,” Voronkov noted.
Orthopedic traumatologist Viktor Anisimov added that using such shoes is unsafe. “The ankle doesn’t come into action at the time it should. The ankle will not react to contact with the surface, the leg may twist, and the person will be injured,” he explained.
Previously, Australian scientists found the fastest way to become stronger. Experts said that a single three-second contraction of the biceps with weights will help keep the body in good shape.
