Tatyana Navka allowed Roman Kostomarov to participate in her ice show
Olympic champion in ice dancing Tatyana Navka spoke about the possible participation of former partner Roman Kostomarov in her ice show. RIA Novosti reports this.
The ex-athlete allowed this to happen. “He knows this very well, and I always wait for him. But there are no preliminary dates for when this could happen,” Navka said.
On August 22, Kostomarov went on the ice for the first time after amputation. He took part in a number with his wife Oksana Domnina during Ilya Averbukh’s gala show “Letters of Love” in Sochi at the Iceberg Ice Palace.
Kostomarov was hospitalized on January 10 with pneumonia and influenza B. Due to prolonged connection to a blood oxygenation machine and a ventilator, his tissue began to die. Doctors amputated both feet of the skater, then the shins of both legs, the entire hand of his right hand and several fingers of his left.
