Rescued by helicopter after fainting while participating in the Gorbeia Suzien
The Ertzaintza helicopter rescued this Saturday in the Mount Gorbea to a participant in the Gorbeia Suzien race who has suffered a fading.
As reported by the Basque Department of Security, around 12:30 p.m. a call to Sos Deiak-112 has alerted the Emergency Services of the illness of an athlete who was taking part in the mountain race.
A technician from the Emergency Assistance Directorate of the Basque Government has mobilized different resources to the scene, including the helicopter of the Surveillance and Rescue Unit of the Ertzaintza-
The rescuers have lifted the athlete onto the aircraft and taken her to the vicinity of the Zeanuri field hospitalinstalled on the occasion of the sports event, where he received health care.
