Russian Aris striker Alexander Kokorin scored the first goal after returning to the Cypriot team. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
The forward scored in the 11th minute from the penalty spot in the first round game of the Europa League group stage against Sparta Prague. At the time of publication of the news, the match is in its 33rd minute, the Czechs are leading with a score of 2:1 thanks to Ladislav Krejci’s double, which he scored after the Russian’s goal.
On September 8, Kokorin spoke about the difficulties of playing in the Italian Fiorentina. The footballer noted that the club’s opinion about him had changed, but he did not receive playing time.
