Last week, Javier Burrai, the Argentinian goalkeeper of Barcelona SC, received a letter of naturalization granting him Ecuadorian citizenship.
This fact has caused mixed opinions for and against the possibility that it could be an option for the team led by Spaniard Félix Sánchez Bas.
When asked about the possibility of a call to La Tri, the goalkeeper does not hide his desire, but prefers to be cautious in his statements.

“I made a statement last year and I said it the other day, I know there are a lot of people waiting for what I could say, but I don’t want to give away a title that will cause controversy,” he said.
“I said then that who wouldn’t like that and what I want is to maintain a good level and improve even more and that will put me where I want to be, without saying anything else,” added the goalkeeper in a conversation with StudioFootball. (D)
