Medina, Carrascal and Adamov were included in the team of the most expensive transfers of the RPL 2023
The Transfermarkt portal presented the team of the most expensive transfers of the 2023 summer window in the Russian Premier League (RPL). The composition was published in the publication’s Telegram channel.
The team included Dynamo newcomers Jorge Carrascal, Luis Chavez and Joao Bitello, who moved to Zenit Arsen Adamov, Strahinj Erakovic and Wilson Isidore, CSKA defender Moises, as well as Krasnodar defender Vitor Tormena and three new Spartak players – Theo Bongonda, Jesus Medina and Oleg Ryabchuk. The total amount of transfers for such a team was 54.65 million euros.
According to the portal, the most expensive transfer of the off-season was the transfer of the Brazilian Bitello from Gremio to Dynamo for 10 million euros. The top 3 also includes the transfer of Erakovic from Red Star to Zenit for nine million euros and Bongonda from Cadiz to Spartak for seven million euros.
On February 28, 2022, the International Football Federation and the Union of European Football Associations excluded Russian national teams and clubs from international tournaments. Domestic teams do not compete in European competitions, and the Russian national team was deprived of the opportunity to compete for access to the final part of the 2022 World Cup.
