FIG has allocated three quotas for Russians for men and women at the 2024 World Cup stages
The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has provided Russian athletes with tickets to the 2024 World Cup stages. Team head coach Valentina Rodionenko reported this to Match TV.
The specialist said that at the last meeting of the executive committee of the federation, it was decided to allocate three quotas to the Russian national team in women’s and men’s competitions to perform in a neutral status. “When we asked about the neutral status, we were told that they would provide clarification in the coming weeks. Two months have passed and we are still waiting,” Rodionenko said. The World Cup stages are a qualifying start for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
