Figure skater Alina Gorbacheva, who left home, spoke about her relationship with coach Sofia Fedchenko. Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
The athlete said that she insulted the coaches because of the negative reaction of one of the bloggers. Gorbacheva emphasized that the coaches are very supportive and helpful. The figure skater also said that her mother, who lives separately from her, is present at the test skates.
On the evening of August 28, Gorbacheva, the current champion of Russia in women’s singles skating among juniors, left the skating rink and did not return home. It was clarified that before this she had a quarrel with coach Sofia Fedchenko, with whom she lived since she was nine years old. The athlete was found on the evening of August 29 in a cinema in one of the shopping centers in Moscow.
After this, Artem Borshchev, Gorbacheva’s uncle, said that the athlete had a conflict with her coach. The reason was the figure skater’s weight.
