San Pedro wins the 1st day of the play-off and Bueu takes second place

In the first ciaboga Santurtzi set the best time and was one second ahead of San Pedro; In addition, he gained 3 seconds on Bueu and 4 on Ares and Lapurdi respectively. Then, in the second pitch, things changed and San Pedro took the lead with 3 seconds ahead of Bueu and 4 seconds ahead of Ares, Santurtzi and Lapurdi.
Therefore, at the halfway point of the test, San Pedro and Bueu have stood out. Furthermore, both teams remained solid and did not give in in the final stretch. The Gipuzkoa team faced the final length with a 3-second advantage over the Galician boat. Ares lost 5 seconds compared to San Pedro in the 3rd ciaboga, Santurtzi 7 and Lapurdi 8.
The San Pedro rowers did not slow down in the final meters and managed to be first with a ttime of 20:12.40. 2 seconds later Bueu crossed the finish line. He Third place went to Ares at 4 seconds of the victors, fourth was Lapurdi at 7 and fifth Santurtzi to 8.

The two teams that will compete in the Eusko Label League in 2024 will meet on Sunday, September 17 after the second day of the play-off that will take place in Portugalete.
