Salavat Yulaev signed a contract with Canadian ex-St. Louis Blues forward Joshua Livo. This was reported on the official website of the Ufa club.

“We have a great team here that wants to win. Our desires coincide in this. My friend Ryan Murphy played in Ufa last season and spoke very flatteringly about the organization and the club,” Livo said.

It is noted that the agreement with the 30-year-old striker is valid until the end of the 2023/2024 season. In March 2023, the team was joined by American forward Alexander Khmelevsky, who also previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL).

Livo was selected 86th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. He made his debut for the team in the 2013/14 season. In addition, the Canadian is known for his performances for the Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, and Carolina Hurricanes.
