Spartak coach Guillermo Abascal said he feels at home in Russia
The Spanish coach of Spartak Moscow, Guillermo Abascal, spoke about the possibility of raising children in Russia. His words are quoted by Sports.ru.
“We like everything in Moscow, we feel at home – very comfortable. No matter what happens, we will never forget that our son was born in Russia,” said the 34-year-old specialist. He emphasized that the boy’s life began in Moscow, adding that this was very important for their family.
On May 29, the coach said that he named his son Guillermo-Nikolai. He explained the choice of the Russian name with the desire to pay tribute to the club in which he works.
Abaskal will head Spartak in the summer of 2022. In the 2022/2023 season, the club took third place in the Russian Championship standings, losing to CSKA Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg.
