Fury says he feels sad about Tyson’s decision to train Ngannou
British boxer Tyson Fury spoke about training his next opponent, French mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Francis Ngannou with former world boxing champion Mike Tyson. The athlete’s words are quoted by Boxing Social.
“The man I was named after, the legend, has to go against me and then come out the loser. I think he should be in my corner and not the opposite, but business is business,” Fury expressed regret. He added that he felt sad about Tyson’s decision to help Ngannou.
The fight between Ngannou and Fury will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 28. It will take place in the heavyweight division according to boxing rules.
