Liverpool targets Englishman Jude Bellingham

While other European clubs are eyeing Erling Haaland’s plight, Liverpool target another young Borussia Dortmund star. This is Jude Bellingham, according to the Daily Mail.

Bellingham, 18 years old, passed through the youth categories of Birmingham City and was in the sights of Manchester United in 2020, however, the player chose to wear the shirt of the German team.

The Reds are betting that the effort other teams will make to sign Haaland at the next summer market will leave the way clear for Anfield’s team to sign him.

Furthermore, Jurgen Klopp believes that Bellingham would be instrumental in strengthening the English midfield. Despite his young age, the athlete is a key player in the auri-negro team, having played for over 1860 minutes this season, with 22 matches, three goals and nine assists.

Dortmund, in turn, promises to play a tough game. Their link ends in June 2025, and, according to the periodical, the transaction could be around 100 million euros (about R$ 630 million).

Bellingham has already been present in several calls for the England national team, representing his country at the last Euro Cup, when he broke the record for the youngest player to enter the field for the England team in an official competition.
