UFC head White called Russian Volkov a monster after defeating Tuivasa
President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Dana White shared his opinion about Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Alexander Volkov, who defeated Australian Tai Tuivasa. His words are available on the promotion’s YouTube channel.
White called the Russian a monster and said that the fight lived up to expectations. “Just look at this monster Tuivasa fought, his reach advantage, his strength, his size difference. But Tai had an amazing fight,” said the head of the UFC.
On September 10, Volkov turned out to be stronger than Tuivasa at UFC 293. The Russian defeated his opponent in the second round by choke.
Volkov won his third straight victory in the UFC. In total, 34-year-old Volkov has 37 victories and 10 defeats in mixed martial arts. The Russian has been competing in the UFC since 2016. Tuivasa has 14 wins and six losses.
