The Vuelta a España arrives in Navarra this weekend
Navarra will host this weekend the celebration of two stages of La Vuelta Ciclista a España 2023: Saturday the port of Larra Belagua will be the goal of the platoon that will start from the French town of Sautveterre de Béarn, while on Sunday the Navarrese capital will host the start of stage number 15, which will end in Lekunberri.
The stage of Saturday that ends in Navarra is one of the main dishes of this Return. The race will leave the capital for the Pamplona roundPA-30, in the direction of Orkoien and will cross the roads NA-700 (Arazuri, Ororbia and Ibero), NA-7110 (Etxauri, Elio, Echarri and Balneario de Belascoáin), NA-7040 (Artazu and Puente la Reina), NA -1110 (Mañeru, Cirauqui, Lorca, Villatuerta and Estella-Lizarra), NA-120 (Abárzuza, Puerto de Lizarraga), NA-2410 (Etxarri Aranatz, Arbizu, Uharte Arakil, Ihabar, Zuhatzu and Echarren), and NA-7500 (Madotz, Astitz and Alli).
The cyclists will reach the finish line in Lekunberriaround 5:15 p.m., after passing through roads NA-7510, NA-1300 (Latasa), NA-7505 (Mugiro), NA-2410 (Irurtzun) and NA-7500 (Madotz).
Due to the assembly of the finish line, it will be cut throughout the morning the NA-1300 in Lekunberri, while the work lasts.

Stage 15
The passage of La Vuelta will leave traffic cuts from this Friday to Sunday. On Friday, September 8, at 3:00 p.m., access to the port of Larra Belagua will be restricted from km.45 (Mata de Haya). You can go up to the port on foot or by bicycle up to 45 minutes before the arrival of the first runners on Saturday, which is estimated to be at 4:15 p.m. with the end of the stage scheduled for 5:15 p.m.
At the same time, the Government of Navarra remembers that it is No Camping in the area, although an area will be enabled on the Belagua plain, where you can park and spend the night, both with vans and motorhomes. In that same location, another parking area will be established for vehicles that arrive on the day.
Furthermore, before the arrival of the cyclists, fans will have to take into account that dogs must be on a leash and may not leave waste in the area. Finally, it remains fire prohibited and the use of drones without authorization is not possible.
As a general guideline, affected roads will be closed An hour before of the passage of cyclists. Saturday’s stage will access Navarra from the NA-2011 (Larrau) and continue along the NA-140, passing through Uztárroz and Isaba on the way to the finish point at the top of Larra Belagua.
