Lamia confirmed they are interested in signing Alan Dzagoev
Sports Director of the Greek football club “PAS Lamia 1964” Sakis Tsiknis spoke about the negotiations with the Russian midfielder Alan Dzagoev. The words of the functionary leads Sport24.
“We are interested in Dzagoev. We are negotiating. On Saturday I will try to meet with the player,” Tsiknis confirmed.
The negotiations of the 33-year-old Russian with the team became known earlier on September 7. Then it was noted that the Greek head coach Leonidas Vokolos was especially interested in signing Dzagoev. The parties are currently negotiating the terms of the contract.
In the 2022/2023 season, Dzagoev played for Rubin Kazan. As part of the club, he became the winner of the First League, which allowed the team to return to the Russian Premier League.
From 2008 to 2022, Dzagoev played for CSKA Moscow. He played 397 matches for the army team, in which he scored 77 goals and made 93 assists. As part of CSKA, the midfielder became a three-time champion of Russia, and also won four Russian Cups and three Russian Super Cups.
