“Mutko against”: the Egyptian team is ready to come to Russia for the second leg
It became known about the readiness of the Egyptian national football team to hold a second friendly match with Russia. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Mutko against”.
According to the source, the Egyptian team may come to Russia in October to hold another meeting. It is noted that football players from Asia or Africa can also come to the October matches. Negotiations are currently underway with four federations.
On September 1, the Russian Football Union (RFU) announced that the Russians will play two friendly matches with the Egyptian Olympic team. The matches will take place in Suez on 7 and 11 September. On September 12, the Russians will also play with Qatar.
The Russian national team has not played in international tournaments since February 2022 due to the sanctions of the International Football Federation and the Union of European Football Associations.
