MMA fighter Sharabutdin Magomedov said he signed a three-fight contract with the UFC
Russian mixed martial artist (MMA) Sharabutdin Magomedov has revealed the terms of the contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). His words are quoted by the YouTube channel Vestnik MMA.
The athlete said that he had concluded an agreement with the promotion for three fights. “How many zeros in 250 thousand dollars? And I have five zeros [в контракте]. Few people can boast of such a contract. Therefore, it doesn’t matter to me who to fight with, ”Magomedov said. He added that the amount of the contract could increase at any time depending on his performances.
On December 29, 2022, it became known that Magomedov signed a contract with the UFC. The deal was handled by the manager of former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, Ali Abdelaziz. It was expected that the fighter will make his debut in the promotion in May-June 2023, but so far the organization has not appointed an opponent for him.
Magomedov won seventeen victories (13 of them by knockout) and did not suffer a single defeat in his professional career.
