TuttoAtalanta: Alexei Miranchuk returned to training with Atalanta
Russian midfielder Alexei Miranchuk has returned to training with Italian Atalanta. It is reported by TuttoAtalanta.
According to the publication, at the moment the player is gaining form after injury. It is noted that the inclusion of his name in the team’s application for the 2023/2024 season significantly increases the variability of the composition.
On August 11, 2022, Miranchuk joined Torino. The Turin club took the midfielder on loan from Atalanta with an option to buy, but in the end did not acquire the player. Later it became known that the midfielder is not included in the plans of Atalanta head coach Gian Piero Gasperini for the 2023/2024 season, but several Turkish clubs are showing interest in him.
Miranchuk joined Atalanta in September 2020, signing a four-year contract. The 27-year-old midfielder is also known for playing for Lokomotiv and the Russian national team.
