Neymar confident that Carlo Ancelotti will receive a warm welcome in the Brazilian national team
Brazilian striker Neymar praised the plans of the leadership of the national team to appoint Italian Carlo Ancelotti as head coach. His words are quoted by Ge Globo.
The player expressed confidence that the team will give the specialist a warm welcome. “He is an incredible coach who has won many trophies. I want to learn something from him. But it all depends on top management. I’m sure it will make the right decision,” Neymar added.
The appointment of Ancelotti became known on 5 July. It was noted that the Italian will lead the Brazilian national team in 2024 after the America’s Cup, and until that moment the Brazilian Fernando Dinis will work with the team.
Ancelotti, 64, currently works for Real Madrid. His contract with the team runs until June 2024.
