Neymar described Lionel Messi’s performance for PSG as ‘went through hell’
Brazilian striker “Paris Saint-Germain” Neymar commented on the decision of the Argentinean Lionel Messi to leave the Paris team. His words are quoted by Mundo Albiceleste.
“I was very happy for Messi, for his season, despite the fact that he went through all this. He went to heaven with Argentina and he went through hell in Paris. We went through hell together, he and I,” Neymar described the situation.
On July 15, 36-year-old Messi became a player in the North American Major League Soccer (MLS) club Inter Miami. His agreement with the team runs until the end of the 2024/2025 season. He has been playing for PSG since 2021.
On August 15, Neymar moved from PSG to Saudi Al-Hilal. According to RMC Sport, PSG sold the striker for 90 million euros, excluding bonuses. The Brazilian has been playing for the Parisians since 2017.
