Two-time Olympic figure skating champion Evgeni Plushenko lost a bet to Russian figure skater Mark Kondratyuk and paid him $10,000. He posted the corresponding video on his Instagram. The dispute won by Kondratyuk was reported on August 15. During the show in Beijing, Plushenko offered the athlete money for 10 triple axels in a row. Under the terms of the bet, the jumps had to be performed cleanly, and the pause between them had to be no more than 15 seconds.
