Russian figure skater Alina Gorbacheva spoke on her Telegram channel about conflicts with the coaching staff.
Gorbacheva stated that the coaches never beat or humiliated her. She also said that her mother never came to the training camp and for the past three years she never came to training. “Even if she really wanted to ask my coaches for something, she physically couldn’t do it,” the athlete added.
Earlier, Artem Borshchev, Gorbacheva’s uncle, shared that the athlete had a conflict with coach Sofia Fedchenko. “There was a quarrel, as I understand it, although she did not advertise, against the background of food,” he said.
On the evening of August 28, Gorbacheva, the reigning champion of Russia in women’s singles among juniors, left the rink and did not return home. It was clarified that before that she had a quarrel with Fedchenko, with whom she lived from the age of nine. The athlete was found on the evening of August 29 in the cinema of one of the shopping centers in Moscow.
