Russian figure skater Alina Gorbacheva posted a video in which she apologized for her disappearance. She published an appeal in the Telegram channel.
The athlete thanked everyone who was looking for her: rescuers, volunteers, search services and divers, as well as fellow skaters and fans. “And, of course, many thanks to my family and friends. Sorry for making you worry,” she added.
“Only now I understand what really happened, that my act does not fit into the concept of “normal” at all. After all, while I was worried, trying to understand myself, in my thoughts and feelings, you all spent time and effort searching for me, ”summed up the 16-year-old figure skater.
On the evening of August 28, Gorbacheva, the reigning champion of Russia in women’s singles among juniors, left the rink, went to the park and did not return home. It was clarified that before that she had a quarrel with Fedchenko, with whom she lived from the age of nine. The athlete was found on the evening of August 29 in the cinema of one of the shopping centers in Moscow.
