“Mutko against”: all Tolpar hockey players passed positive doping tests
All hockey players of the Youth Hockey League (MHL) club “Tolpar”, except for the injured players, passed positive tests for doping. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Mutko against”.
According to the source, after the discovery of meldonium in seven hockey players, the team’s management initiated an internal check and tested the rest of the players. It turned out that all tests, including samples of a technician, masseur and serviceman, were positive.
Tolpar did not report the results of the test anywhere, however, in the same period, the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) tested another 10 team players. The test results are not yet known.
On August 25, Tolpar players spoke about forced doping in the team. Athletes said that suspicious injections were prescribed by physical training coach Igor Zagretdinov.
On April 7, it became known that seven Tolpar players had tested positive for doping. It was reported that we are talking about meldonium. The names of the players in whose samples the prohibited drug was found were not specified.
“Tolpar” is the youth team of the Russian club “Salavat Yulaev” playing in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). In the 2022/2023 season, the Ufa players were eliminated to the 1/4 finals of the playoffs of the Eastern Conference of the MHL.
