He techsuyo event, recognized as one of the most important technology conferences, is scheduled for September 6 and 7 at the Universidad San Pablo de Arequipa. The 2023 edition will bring together Peruvian professionals working in Silicon Valley in various areas of technology and innovation.
The title of the colloquium for this year will be ‘Solving challenges like in Silicon Valley’. It should be noted that previous colloquia have been held at Stanford University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the University of Berkeley, among others.
“This year we will start the conversation about artificial intelligence for everyone: AI for Peru, privacy and ethics, automation with AI and the impact of Generative AI (artificial intelligence) on the media and democracy. We will also have sessions on data, artificial intelligence, talent and culture, problem solving, financial education and innovation”, explains Víctor Cadenas, organizer of Techsuyo 2023.

The event It will last two days and there will be four workshops, panels and a hackathon so that the more than 30 invited specialists can share their experiences working in Silicon Valley companies, such as Apple, Meta (Facebook), Google, Amazon, Netflix, among others.
Among the main speakers are Spencer Friedman, general manager for the Andean region of Rappi; Angela Galdós, Google project leader; Emilia Paz, software engineer at Google Chrome; Omar Flores, winner of the IBM Research award; Luis Larco, software engineer at X (Google X); Bruno Wong, UX designer Amazon; among others.
