The fourth edition of the tournament combat jiu-jitsu IBI will take place this Friday, December 10 at the Fedenador theater with keys of twelve fighters for the male branch and two super fight for the female.
The contest this year has the special participation of the Olympic fighter Luisa Valverde, who obtained a diploma in the 53 kilogram category in the last Tokyo 2020 Games, and the martial artist Emiliano Linares, current champion in the 145 pounds of the Mexican league Budo Sento Championship.
It also highlights the presence of the fighter of jiu-jitsu Brazilian Sebastián Guevara.
The jiu-jitsu combat is a combat modality that combines the rules of BJJ with open hand blows, in a nexus between ground play and mixed martial arts (MMA).

The registered athletes are Emiliano Linares (Team Bonebreakers / Predador), Sebastián Guevara (Team Alliance LDE), Bryan Guarnizo (Team Basurto MMA), Juan Fernando Albarello (Team Mantra), Luis Castro (Team Mantra), Hugo Rivera (Team Mantra / Medina), Emilio Saltos (Team Iturralde Arte Suave), Miguel Goncálvez (Team Casca Grossa), Joaquín Gavilánez (Team Gracie Barra), Ariel Delgado (Team Alliance LDE), Fernando Herrera (Team Studio 76), of Spanish and Ecuadorian flag, and Sebastián Fernández (Team Capone BJJ), of Peruvian flag.
The women’s branch includes Luisa Valverde (Team Predador), Klaudia Altamirano (Team Alliance LDE), Pamela Espinoza (Team Cohab Jiu Jitsu) and Priscila Arboleda (Team Iturralde Arte Suave).
These super fight were previously established: Espinoza vs. Altamirano and Valverde vs. Grove.
The economic prize for the champion of the male branch is $ 3000, while the female branch will award two prizes of $ 1000.
Tickets for IBI 4 will be sold on the same day of the event at the theater box office, located in the César Muñoz Vicuña sports complex, km 4.5 via a la costa, av. of the Firefighter. The seats will be designated according to the order of arrival of the spectators.
