Summary of the Getafe-Alavés match
With a penalty, undetectable at first, discovered by VAR and transformed by Borja Mayoral in the final stretch of the game, at six minutes from ninety, he ended the scoring drought that was chasing him and achieved, against Alavés, his first victory of the season.
It did not give that feeling in a clash that had an initial section marked by the thickness, by the lack of continuity and by the inaccuracies more than by the successes. There was no dominator. None got hold of the game. The goal could only come from a Ander Guevara mistake that he threw the ball back, towards the goal Antonio Sivera and that Mayoral crashed against the post.
With a different, faster pace, the second half took shape, in which Alavés outperformed their rival with clear chances from Abqar and Xeber Alkain.
Luis García Plaza made Samu Omorodion debut in 1975 and after a chance from Duarte, he arrived the play that decided the game. The VAR called Martínez Munuera to observe a possible slap from Abdel Abqar on Juanmi Latasa inside the area, in an aerial ball, and he awarded a penalty.
Borja Mayoral executedcalmly, he beat Sivera like this and ended the blue drought.
Alavés tried the tie, which was close in a possible penalty to Jon Guridi that the referee did not signal. At the end 1-0 for Getafe and the three points stayed at the Coliseum.
