A total of 43 traineras, 19 women and 24 men, will participate in the qualifying regattas of the shell flag that will be disputed this Wednesday and Thursday, August 30 and 31, in Donostia. Both the qualifying regattas and the following two days can be followed live on ETB1 and eitb.eus.

Thus, the two tests will start at 18:00 in the time trial mode and from there the seven boats that will be classified in each category will start. A route of 1.5 and 3 miles respectively will be the course of this preview with a single turn.

The times of this qualifying are not used for the real competition that will add the times of the two days to determine the successors Bermeo and orioreigning champions.

Regarding the two days that make up the dispute of the shell flag properly speaking, these will be on September 3 and 10. The boats classified to row in the women’s category will do so starting at 11:00 a.m. on both days, while the men’s trawlers will compete an hour later, at 12:00 p.m.
