Aubameyang scores, and Gabon beats Angola in the African Qualifiers

Gabon and Angola faced each other this Monday afternoon for the fourth round of the African Qualifiers. By the score of 2-0, the Gabonese team came out with the victory and now occupies the third position with four points, while their opponent is in the last place with three.

The goals of the match were all scored in the second half. In the 29th minute, Arsenal’s center forward Aubameyang opened the scoring. Ten minutes later, To Carneiro scored against his equity and closed the count.

Also on Monday, Côte d’Ivoire overcame Malawi by 2-1. With the result, the team remains undefeated in the competition and took the lead in Group D, with nine points. Malawi, in turn, remains in second place with three added.
