Dynamo and Rostov will sue Norman, who left Russia

In the near future, Dynamo and Rostov will sue the former footballer of both clubs, Matthias Normann, who left Russia. This is with reference to the General Director of the Dynamo Pavel Pivovarov RIA Novosti reports.

According to Pivovarov, the clubs will work out a joint position and then go to court. “The question is similar, with similar arguments, but we have a different scope of requirements. Whether we go together or separately, we will decide with our colleagues from the Rostov club, ”the functionary noted. At the same time, the Russian Football Union refused to issue an international transfer certificate for Norman’s transfer to the Saudi Al-Raed.

On August 20, head coach of the Norwegian national team Stole Solbakken condemned Norman for moving to Al Raed and demanded an explanation from him. According to the expert, the player should not have signed a contract with the team because of human rights violations in Saudi Arabia.

On August 9, Norman notified Rostov and Dynamo of the termination of the contract due to the fact that the Moscow City building was attacked by drones. Then, referring to these circumstances, the legionnaire left the country.

From 2019 to 2021, Norman played for Rostov, after which he was loaned to the English Norwich. In the fall of 2022, the Rostovites again sent the footballer on loan to Dynamo.
