Trainer Tracy advised to train the upper and lower body on different days
Fitness expert Andrew Tracey talked about the right combination of exercises for pumping muscles. His advice leads Men’s Health.
According to the expert, the simplest training scheme is to train the upper body separately from the lower one. For example, one day you can pay more attention to the shoulder girdle and back, and after a short break, start pumping your legs. Tracy noted that this makes the heart work harder, pumping blood from the limbs.
Another possible plan is to do paired movements that engage different parts of the same muscle group, such as doing triceps push-ups before bench presses. The coach emphasized that the ability to correctly combine various exercises will allow you to recover faster, work out your muscles better, and also help reduce the overall level of fatigue.
Previously, Michelle Olson, professor of exercise physiology at Auburn University, gave advice on how to quickly recover from exercise. She noted that after the class, it is imperative to restore the water balance, and recommended drinking a glass of water or freshly squeezed juice.
