The Navarrese cyclist Imanol Erviti (Movistar Team) will run the 78th edition of La Vuelta a Españawhich starts this Saturday in Barcelona, in what will be his fifteenth participation in the Spanish round, in this case replacing Carlos Verona, who will be out due to physical problems.

The rider from Pamplona has contested 14 editions of La Vuelta so far, all with the Movistar Team and his best result was 47th place, which he achieved in 2020. In addition, Erviti has achieved two stage victories, one in the 2008 round and another in 2010.
